Hyaluronic Acid and GAGs: Both hold up to 1,000 times their weight in water help to hydrate skin and retain vital moisture.

Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract: A source of polyphenol bioflavonoids that provides protection to the skin.

Zostera Eelgrass (Seagrass or Eelgrass): Contains polysaccharides (sugars) that form a hydration net over the skin's surface that cushions and protects the skin.

We recommend that Daily Resurfacer be used once daily for best results. Daily Resurfacer can be used as an ideal daytime companion to Daily Microfoliant®

• Cleanse twice with recommended Dermalogica Cleanser, pat dry.
• Hold pouch between thumb and index finger and press firmly on center of pouch. This will break seal and dispense fluid onto applicator pad.
• Hold pouch between index finger and middle finger, exposing pad on inside of fingers.
• Touch pad to face and apply fluid to skin in a gentle circular motion.
• Apply to entire face, but use caution around eye area to avoid getting into eyes. Let treatment solution dry about 2 to 3 minutes before applying a Dermalogica Booster or Moisturizer. There is no need to rinse or remove Daily Resurfacer.

Contraindicators:

• Do not use if skin is sensitive, sunburned, irritated, or 48 hours before waxing or 24 hours after waxing. Rinse off immediately if product irritates skin. Mild tingling or stinging may occur but should dissipate quickly.

• If the client is using Retin-A, Renova, Adapalene or any medically prescribed exfoliating product, he/she must discontinue use at least two weeks before undergoing this treatment.

• Clients who are taking Accutane or have taken it within the past 6 months should not receive any exfoliation treatments or use exfoliants.

• This product contains hydroxy acids that may increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Advise client to use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product.

• Daily Resurfacer should not be used 3 days prior or 3 days after professional treatments.

Questions and Answers:

q. How do I incorporate Daily Resurfacer into my existing Dermalogica exfoliation regimen?
a. Daily Resurfacer should be applied after cleansing in the evening. Follow with your recommended Dermalogica Booster and Moisturizer. In the morning, after cleansing, use Daily Microfoliant to slough off dead protein cells.

q. Can Daily Resurfacer be used in the morning?
a. Yes, but do not use other exfoliants (i.e. do not use with Gentle Cream Exfoliant, Skin Prep Scrub, Skin Renewal Booster, etc.). Leave on and follow with your recommended Dermalogica Booster and Moisturizer. As with all exfoliation products, sunscreen should be applied after use in the daytime.

q. How long will Daily Resurfacer last?
a. The tin contains 35 pouches, which equals 35 days (use one per day). Ideally, this will resurface and maintain skin health between professional exfoliation skin treatments, which are recommended every six weeks. Daily Resurfacer should not be used 3 days prior or 3 days after a treatment.

q. Can I receive a waxing treatment while using Daily Resurfacer?
a. Avoid using the product on areas to be waxed (i.e. lip and eyebrows) 48 hours prior to your appointment. Resume use on these areas 24 hours after waxing.

q. Can I use Daily Resurfacer with Power Rich?
a. Yes, Power Rich uses non-acid exfoliation technology which does not outwardly peel or exfoliate the skin. However, if you experience sensitivity, use Daily Resurfacer in the morning and Power RichTM in the evening.

q. Is Daily Resurfacer safe to use around the eye area or eyelids?
a. Close to the eye orbit is fine, but caution should be used to prevent the product from entering the eyes. Do not use on the eyelids.

q. Will Daily Resurfacer make my skin break out?
a. As this is a resurfacing exfoliation treatment, underlying congestion may be brought to the skin's surface, but should clear quickly.

q. Can Daily Resurfacer be used on any skin condition?
a. Yes, it is suitable for all skin conditions - except those that are being treated with medically-prescribed exfoliation products.
